Unaccepted Items
  1. ANYTHING RECALLED. Check your items at and/or It is consignor’s responsibility to ensure no items are recalled!
  2. ANYTHING DAMAGED: stained, torn, showing pet hair, smelling like smoke, worn out, out of date, etc. 3BF reserves the right to refuse items at our discretion. Final determination is made by Sale Managers.
  3. INFANT: Car seats, infant car seat carriers, blankets, bibs (unless nwt), burp cloths, used nipples/pacifiers, rubber coated cups/food items, etc., breast pumps
  4. BEDDING: comforters, quilts, sheets, dust ruffles, bumper pads, mattresses, mattress covers.
  5. STUFFED: Beanie Babies, used Webkins, stuffed animals, fiber filled items in a bag (character plush, Build a Bear & plush that “do something” is accepted)

How to Prep & Hang Your Items

How to Tag Your Items

Creating your pricetags:

  • Create your tags from our website, Log into your account, click on “Work with Consigned Inventory” and get started. You’ll enter info about your items and then print your tags. Six tags print per page. Video Tutorial
  • Use ONLY white cardstock paper to print tags & use lightest (draft, etc) print mode OR new sticker tags! (Available at
  • DO NOT use colored paper and DO NOT use high-quality ink to print.
  • Sticker Tags & Perforated Tags (fast options) are available for purchase here. 

Attaching your pricetags:

  • Attach tags to clothing with a safety pin, tagging gun or with the new sticker tags. (No straight pins, staples, etc)
    • Put tag in a seam, in the manufacturer tag in the back neck, in the underarm seam, or place sticker tag on the front of the item.  (Do NOT place barb or pin thru center of garment where it’ll leave a hole!)
  • If the tag cannot be pinned, use CLEAR PACKING TAPE.
    • Test the tag… if your child could remove it, then so will others.
  • The description field is for your benefit. If the tag becomes misplaced, we keep it and attempt to find the item. The description allows us to do so.

How to Price Your Items

What would you pay?

  • The happiest consignors sell  everything & have a big deposit! Price it to move. Ask yourself: “What would I pay for this item?”
  • Buyers have a lot to choose from. What price point would make them put it in their bag instead of back on the rack?
  • Price & Condition are the PRIMARY REASONS an item doesn’t sell: too high or too worn out.
  • Brands & Condition matter!

How to Get Paid for Your Items

Getting Paid for the Items You Sell:

  • We deposit earnings into your PayPal Account within 10 business days. Make sure the email listed in your Consignor Account is the SAME or LINKED TO the email associated with your PayPal account. This email is your PayPal “account number.”  Not sure? Contact Paypal. We pay the fees! (Funds usually hit your account within 4 days, fyi) Make sure the email listed is correct BEFORE the tagging system closes.
  • Prefer a check? After 30 days if your PayPal earnings have not been deposited into your account they are returned to us. At that time we will issue a paper check to the address listed in your consignor account minus a $5 processing fee. PayPal is best/easiest!

When DO YOU get to shop?

Shopping Early is the BEST PART of Selling!

  • Why pay retail? Shop from another mom, JUST LIKE YOU, and SAVE BIG.
  • All consignors shop first on full price (Tuesday) & half price (Thursday) night.
  • All consignors receive a “Friends of Consignor” pass when they drop off.  TEXT THIS to everyone you know! (And you are entered to win 90% of your earnings!) FOC shop early on Wednesday & Thursday night!
  • WHEN you shop is based on shifts. Helping out is not required. But, the more you help, the earlier you shop.
  • Refer to the Premier Consignor page for a breakdown of shop times. You’ll receive your Consignors Only Shopping Pass (good for you and your spouse and/or grandparent.- kids welcome but not encouraged) when you drop off your items.

Before Arriving

  1. Schedule your drop-off appointment from within your Consignor Account.
  2. Plan on 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of items & the time of day. Evening is busiest. Kids are welcome but not encouraged.
  3. Organize all clothing by size & gender.  Shoes & Books should be easily accessible as you’ll drop those off first.
  4. Read the “Drop Off Instructions” that were emailed to you!!

When You Arrive:

  1. Take your shoes & books inside with you.
  2. CHECK IN WITH A SALE MANAGER.  DO THIS FIRST. Complete some paperwork and drop off your books & shoes.
  3. Receive further instructions regarding drop off stations.
  4. Consignors who are helping out (premier consingors) will inspect your items based on our Items Accepted list. If we cannot accept an item please take it home with you.

Drop Off Stations:

  1. Clothing: you’ll be asked to put clothing in size & gender piles for inspection. While your items are inspected, you’ll be asked to put clothing into the correct area, based on size & gender.
  2. Toys: all toys will be inspected to make sure they a) turn on b) are not broken, missing pieces, etc.
  3. Claim Tickets: anything too large for a blue bag needs a Claim Ticket. Consignor completes the Claim Ticket & staples their white barcode tag to the bottom portion of the claim ticket.

Late? Missed Appt?

Running late or missed your appointment? NO WORRIES! Come anytime during drop off hours (Listed in the Complete Event Schedule) and we’ll fit you in!


Purchases may only be made during Shopping Hours.


Bag Inspection

All bags, totes, purses, etc will be inspected prior to exiting the facility

Your Conduct

Removing items from the sales floor, setting items aside for personal use, Parking Lot Sales, “hiding or misplacing items” do constitute theft and will be prosecuted.

Step 4: Pick Up (optional)

Picking up is optional. Don’t want it back? We’ll donate it on your behalf.

Complete Pick Up Procedures:

  1. Arrive during the designated “Pick-Up” timeframe: Saturday 4pm-7pm (no exceptions!). Do not enter the building until Pick Up has officially begun. No appointments are needed. Give yourself ample time. The more you have to pick-up, the longer it will take. Arrive at the beginning of the timeframe and you will not be rushed and miss items. No early pick-ups. No exceptions.
  2. When tags become detached we do our best to match the lost tag with the lost item. When not possible, lost tags go in the “Lost Tag Drawer” located in the Red Box near checkout. Check this drawer for any “lost tags.”
  3. When an item without a tag needs to be sold, we complete an Inventory Search based upon the description of the item. DESCRIPTIONS ON YOUR TAGS ARE IMPORTANT. If we can find the correct tag, we sell it and you receive credit. If we cannot locate the correct tag, DeAnn places a “low side of fair” price on the item, and it is sold. That “sold tag” goes into the “SOLD TAG DRAWER” located in the Red Box near check-out. Check this box at pick-up to see if any items appear to be yours and follow the steps indicated. (Proceeds from these items are donated to charity).
  4. When an item is pulled off the sales floor due to stains, damage, etc. it is put in an “Oops!” box. Check these boxes to see if your item is present.
  5. PICK-UP CLOSES PROMPTLY AT THE DESIGNATED TIME. NO EXCEPTIONS. ITEMS ARE DONATED IMMEDIATELY UPON THE CLOSE OF PICK-UP. (No one takes these items home, no one saves them for later- they are donated).
  6. Yes! You can make purchases during pick-up!!!
  7. Premier Consignors are stationed at each door. Give them your consignor name. ALL items will be inspected BEFORE leaving the building to make sure ONLY your consignor number has been picked up. It is easy to reverse numbers and accidentally get someone else’s things. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  8. If you do not pick-up your un-sold items, they are donated! (The charities thank you!)

If getting unsold items back is important to you, follow these steps:

  1. TOUCH EACH ITEM IN THE BUILDING, looking at the consignor number NOT the item. (Items get moved around by shoppers- boys clothing may be found in toys, girls, books, etc, for example)
  2. Quickly flip through each hanger, checking the consignor number on the tag. Check ALL rows.
  3. Be methodical- start with one row, finish with that row.

Be Prepared

  • Review your un-sold items, available in your account approximately 3:30pm on Saturday
  • Determine what you really want back
  • Allow enough time; arrive early NOT late
  • Leave kids at home, if possible
  • Bring a bag/tote with you
  • Read the Complete Pick Up Directions (above) if getting all unsold items back is important to you.
  • Anything left in the building is donated.

Be Methodical

  • Check EVERY row/table/etc.
  • TOUCH every item in the building
  • Marking off a list usually creates stress
  • Check the lost & sold tags in the red bin near check-out.
  • Check the bag of tags for items that have sold during Pick Up (YES you can buy during pick up)
  • Check the “oops” pile
  • Remember: WE focus on SALES! Price it right, have great condition items and it’ll sell!

Be Patient!

  • 99.9% of the time the item you are looking for IS in the building. Did you follow ALL of the procedures correctly?
  • Give yourself enough time so you aren’t rushed.
  • Remember: Items left at the end of pick up are donated to Joseph’s Coat, Pregnancy Decision Health Centers, New LIfe Baby Pantry and others. They are put to GREAT use!
