Shopping Tips
*Be sure to check out our facebook page for personal tips from shoppers!
- We accept CASH, VISA or MasterCard ( with PHOTO ID and $20 minimum purchase recommended). No checks.
- Stick your credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) & license in your pocket so you don’t have to carry a big, heavy purse.
- Shopping bags are provided so leave Purses, Diaper Bags, etc at home! (For security measures items brought into the sale will be subect to search).
- Bring a list of what you need, sizes your children wear, etc.; trace your child’s foot on a piece of paper to help determine if those cute shoes will fit.
- Plan ahead! Buying ahead is a great way to save money. Buy items for the current season and the next season, upcoming birthday’s, holidays, etc. Don’t get stuck running to the store to pay retail!
- Bring a pen with you! If an item is too large to carry, complete the Shopper Info on the attached “Claim Ticket.” Remove the bottom portion of the “Claim Ticket” and take it with you when you check-out. After it has been scanned, it will be marked. Check out, Pay and take your items to your vehicle. Return with your “Claim Ticket” to retrieve your item from a volunteer. A volunteer will collect the “Claim Ticket.” If the item does not have a “Claim Ticket” on it, you must keep it with you if you want to purchase the item.
- All tags with a “red dot” will be 50% off during designated “1/2 Price Days.” (They will not be 1/2 price early.)
- Check-out Process:
- Get in line when you are ready.
- When the next volunteer is available, they will help you with your items and your tags will be scanned.
- Once you receive your scanned tags, take your items with you and proceed to the cash register area where you will pay. Cash, Visa/MasterCard only.
- Bring a friend with you! It’s always more fun shopping with a friend.
- Leave the kids at home with grandma/daddy/friend. You’ll enjoy your “day out.”
- If you do bring your children, please keep them attended. Please do not allow your children to open bags of toys, etc. These items belong to a mom and she’d like to sell them!
- Each sale location facility is unique. Fairground facilities often tend to be cold regardless of the outside weather temperature. Restrooms are available. Food/beverages are not available at all locations. Water is available.
- Pickerington Location: Due to space limitations, stairs and large crowds, leave strollers and small children at home especially on opening night.
